The Giver of My Day

“Lord, keep it EVER at the front of my thoughts, the Mercy and Forgiveness others have given to me, so that I always remember…to give it to others.”

“Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” Proverbs 16:3

For me, it’s so easy to forget those who have shown Mercy and Forgiveness throughout my life…when I’m in a place of current Peace. It can become like a trap, as comfort eases over me like a warm blanket, and my gratefulness is lulled to sleep.

I’ve come to realize, I’m most deceived when I am most comfortable. So it has become my safeguard, to approach The Giver of My Day, with a prayer that He keeps certain thoughts EVER before me…

…The faces of those He placed in my past, who gave me Mercy and Forgiveness, to help bring me to the place I am this morning.
